This website  is dedicated to providing quality handmade wooden art  made from sustainable sources. it has a full range of wooden products such as signs,  wall art, wood carvings, key rings and many more. 

My name is Gary and I’m someone with a passion for working with wood. I’m at my happiest when knee deep in shavings and  always looking to make just one more cut before I go.

I always get a real buzz when someone buys something I have made. This is especially the case when some one has an emotional attachment to it, such as a wood burned portrait of a loved one or a wooden spoon that just feels perfect in their hand.

Wood is a clean and sustainable material as long as it is harvested in a responsible manner. A large portion of the wood I use comes from local tree surgeons and landscaper which would have otherwise had to be processed at recycling depots.

Any wood that I have to buy comes from suppliers who have been certified by  the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This means it has been grown and harvested with minimal environmental impacts.

I try to use traditional tools and methods as often as possible. There is nothing more satisfying than the sound of a razor shape blade  cutting through wood. A defly used axe removes material far more effectively than most power tools and allows you you really connect with the wood.

I also love using my wood craft skills when i go on canoe and bushcraft trips. A spoon whittled by a camp fire in a remote wilderness always feels more special and makes the food taste that little bit sweeter.
